"Francie's Flower", is a painting of a magnolia flower from a tree that I had planted nine years ago, in memory of a dear friend. My friend's name was Francie, and her death along with her children was a cruel and untimely one. Now every spring, when Francie's Magnolia blooms, I am reminded of my dear friend, and how precious and short life can be.
